Holloway Reserve, Reesville

Date:Jan 22, 2016

This 15 hectare site is on a north facing slope at Reesville on the Blackall Range. Large areas are dominated by Broad Leaf Privet (Ligustrum lucidum), which although dominant has probably contributed to regrowth of rainforest on this previously cleared site. Our primary focus is management of the Broad Leaf Privet, which consists of in-situ poisoning where sufficient native regrowth is present to rapidly shade and capture the area.

Yet another difficult access site with regular land slips and walk into site required – a Brush Turkey speciality!
